I’m just an average Utah girl with a desire to turn my little townhouse into something beautiful. It makes me happy when my home is beautiful and clean and organized. I am lucky to have a husband who is willing to help me in my pursuit of happiness–meaning he is willing to help me tile, sand, measure, paint, and occasionally he’ll stop at a few yard sales with me. (However, taking long, strolling walks through Tai Pan is crossing the line.)

I work full time for a lavender farm in Mona and don’t really have the time to keep up a blog, but I just can’t help trying. So some of my posts may seem a bit rushed, but what do you expect? I’m writing this blog to keep track off all the great things I see and where I see them and I’ll include some of my own decorating mishaps (and hopefully successes) along the way. I especially love finding local stores that carry unique and special items; in fact I’m hoping that readers of this blog will help me find shops I don’t know about. I love reading design blogs and watching HGTV but am getting tired of hearing about stores or beautiful things I can’t get to because I don’t live in New York or San Fransisco. I know good stuff is in Utah, and I want to find it! Also, who doesn’t want to give the locals a little love?
